Where is the hotel located?

The hotel is located in the neighborhood of Cayo Hueso in Centro Habana. From this central location, we're just a few minutes on foot from Vedado, a few minutes by car from Old Habana & only four blocks away from the Malecón oceanfront. Artists past & present gathered in Cayo Hueso to connect, to play rumba, to express & enjoy themselves. It's the perfect location if you want to explore our unique access to Cuba's musical and cultural heritage.

Is the neighborhood safe?

Yes! Cayo Hueso is as safe as any neighborhood in Habana. Cuba is actually considered one of the safest places in the Caribbean. Plus, we have 24/7 security at the hotel to give you that extra piece of mind.

How do I book a room?

Click on the STAY button. Once you've selected your travel dates and room desired, we'll review your request and availability. Once confirmed we'll send you an invoice via the email you provided. Guests can make a bank wire transfer to secure the booking. Guests must pay 50% of the total cost of their accommodation for the period chosen at the moment of booking, and the remaining 50% must be paid up to 15 days before the date of arrival. If guests' date of arrival is scheduled within 15 days after the date of booking, the cost of the accommodation for the period chosen must be paid in full when booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can receive a full reimbursement if your cancellation occurs more than 30 days before your check-in date. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a refund beyond that time limit.

Can Americans travel to Cuba?

Yes, it is legal for Americans to travel to Cuba. It's super easy as long as you have your tourist visa and reason for travel. Since the Obama administration, the relationship between Cuba & the USA has relaxed allowing for commercial airlines to travel to Cuba. Thankfully, you can book directly from several USA cities including NYC, Houston & Miami.

Do I need a visa to travel to Cuba?

Yes, all Americans need a tourist visa to enter Cuba. You can purchase the visa in advance through our service provider in the states. Or you can purchase it the same day you check in for your flight at the airport. All commercial airlines have a point of purchase. When asked for the purpose of your trip, select 'support of the Cuban people'. This complies with US regulations, meaning your activities are supporting independent Cuban initiatives or private sector business. We provide itineraries that support this category. Other categories may apply to you including religious or educational reasons.

How do I get to Cuba?

Several U.S. and international cities offer direct flights to Habana including Miami, NYC, Houston, Madrid & Mexico City, among others. Almost all major USA airlines fly to Cuba now, including American Airlines, Jet Blue, Delta, United, and Southwest Airlines.

Is there Wifi or internet connection?

We offer wifi in your room and throughout the hotel. You'll receive a voucher to connect at check-in. The service is included in your room rate. It should be noted that wifi in general in Cuba has some limitations. So we ask for your patience and come prepared to enjoy a different pace of connectivity.

Do you offer tours or experiences?

Yes! We are passionate about sharing our unique access to Havana so you can experience Cuba the way we do. We can create personalized itineraries based on your unique interests and travel style.
